OpenAV Server

The OpenAV server is the "brains" of the system; the package includes server and multiple client licenses. The server can be used in a centralised configuration controlling a range of equipment including video matrix, av receivers, amplifiers, source equipment including satellite receivers, bluray players, gaming units including Xbox 360, PS3 and media players such as an Apple TV. The base configuration has 5 RS-232 ports a RS 422/485 port, 2 x GbE Lan and 8 x USB 2.0 ports. The unit is wall mountable , utilises solid state drive technology for performace and reliability. It also has an external power supply. The server includes full interface access over an internal lan/wan and via external internet connection if required. Any web enabled client can be used to control the system including low cost touch panel pc's, in wall pc's, tablets, and an Iphone and iPad interface are available. The system is configurable over the internet subject to a external IP configuration, this massively reduces programming costs and allows components to be quickly and easily updated and replaced without the need for any on-site visits for costly programming changes. Systems are supplied pre-configured and programmed allowing for easy non-specialist installation. You merely need to advise room names, and source identities.
